Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 — Today began very early, as I drove to London White at 5 a.m. to pick someone up from the airport. The day was busy right from the start, spent mostly on the road. While travelling, I reflected on the events of the past two days. Thankfully, I brought my laptop along, so every moment of waiting was productive. There was a significant delay at immigration for the person I was picking up, which gave me ample time to get some work done.
I focused on coding, continuing the progress from Monday. By then, I had set up the domain and created a “coming soon” page. Today, I worked on developing the landing page for OA Tutors, a one-page website designed to present the idea and allow for booking sessions. Excitingly, I secured my first client after sharing an advert on my status, resulting in two learners in a short span of time. I am very grateful for this opportunity and do not take it for granted.
As the day went on, I continued coding and nearly completed the project, with only a few finishing touches left for the next day. On the way back, I made a stop at church to test and set up a new gadget we had ordered for an upcoming event and some upgrades. It was satisfying to see both my personal goals and church projects coming together.
Despite missing a few personal devotions, I used my driving time to catch up, immersing myself in prayer. For Christians, continuous engagement with the Word is essential; the more you expose yourself to it, the more you understand and live by it.
In the evening, I attended Bible study, where we delved into eschatology, particularly the scriptures related to Apostle Paul’s ministry. It was a very insightful session.
Today was extremely busy and hectic, starting early and ending late. I returned home exhausted but fulfilled. One lesson from today is the importance of persistence and consistency. When you start something, you must keep pushing to finish it. Seeing my professional and spiritual goals progressing simultaneously is encouraging.
I look forward to finalising the code on Wednesday, testing it, and launching it live. How has my story motivated you? Share your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you!
