Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 — Today started early once again, with my mind set on reviewing yesterday’s activities and finalising the code so I could return to editing my thesis. Balancing tasks is quite tiring, and I prefer taking my time to avoid burnout. So, I grabbed my PC and got to work.
First, I received the discussion guide for the church resources webpage. I edited it and proceeded to install some necessary applications in preparation for the barbecue service. After that, I focused on finalising the code and preparing it for deployment. This process took a while, but I’m thrilled to announce that the website is now live.
I shared the site with my mentor, who provided valuable feedback. He identified two areas that needed fixing, which I promptly addressed. The website is now fully operational—an idea that was conceived on Sunday, and by Wednesday, it’s complete. This quick turnaround showcases the importance of self-investment. When you have invested in yourself, you don’t need to rely on others to get things done. I was able to bring this idea to life because I had both the vision and the capacity to implement it.
Continuous learning is crucial. Always strive to learn as much as possible and apply your knowledge. This way, you become less dependent on others and can even train others to help you achieve your goals.
Another task on my list was creating a jingle or announcement for the website. To test my relationship with past students, I sent them the transcript. I’ve received two voiceovers, which I plan to share in tomorrow’s post.
The website is now live, so visit OA Tutors.
